Click the START button, chose RUN. Type in A:\INSTALL.EXE type ENTER. Proceed with installation and setup as normal. The game will be in your Taskbar under START/PROGRAMS/WESTWOOD. Start the game here.

How to install Kyrandia 2 on a Windows 95 system (CD version)

Click the START button, chose RUN. Type in D:\INSTALL.EXE (where D is your CD-ROM drive) and type ENTER. Proceed with installation and setup as normal. The game will be in your Taskbar under START/PROGRAMS/WESTWOOD. Start the game here.

Why does Kyrandia 2 stop working when I try to start the game?

Kyrandia Book 2: The Hand of Fate (floppy version) had to be updated to run on 486-66mhz and faster machines. To update Kyrandia 2, download the patch file for the floppy version.

In some cases, the game does not like the way EMS is configured on your machine. To remedy this, set your config.sys like so :

DEVICE=C:\WINDOWS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS

The line you have may vary, as will the path, but it should look similar to the one above.
